Amy and I met in the summer of 2011 through a mutual friend but I knew there was something special about her right away. We dated through out the summer and fall but things got serious when I, may have, invited myself to her family’s ranch for Thanksgiving that year.
In 2012, Amy moved to complete her doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of Toronto while I stayed in Saskatoon to finish my doctorate in Nutrition. It was tough being apart. There may have even been more than one occasion where Amy seriously suggested we quit to open a food truck (still not a bad idea). Now – we are ready to celebrate our life together with our dog Marlo in beautiful Saskatoon!
When you live apart, you begin to realize that it doesn’t really matter where you are, as long as you are together. “Home is Where Ever I’m With You.”
